Every nonstop from Logan,
filtered for families.
Boston Logan runs roughly 60 international nonstop routes across about 37 airlines, and 24 of those destinations are in Europe. Massport will give you the alphabetical list. This one is sorted the way a family actually decides: what flies in February, what needs a passport, what is a red-eye, and what quietly stops in October.
Verified August 2026. Re-checked before each Massachusetts school vacation week. Two airlines serving Logan have gone out of business since 2025, so a route list with no date on it is not a route list.
Which European cities can you fly to
nonstop from Boston?
Twenty-four European destinations have a Boston nonstop, but only about half fly all year. The split below is the most useful thing on this page. Booking a summer-only route for a February trip is the most common mistake we see, and a fare search in December will happily show you next summer's schedule.
- DublinAer Lingus 2 to 3x daily, year-round. Delta and JetBlue also fly it seasonally

Aer Lingus cut Dublin to Boston from 21 to 14 weekly from 17 August 2026. Frequencies move more often than routes do, so check the specific week you want.
Which nonstops actually fly
during vacation week?
February vacation 2027 runs Monday 15 to Friday 19 February, with a practical travel window of Saturday 13 to Sunday 21. April vacation runs Monday 19 to Friday 23 April. Three schedule facts key directly off those dates, and none of them are obvious from a fare search.
Both routes are suspended 4 January to 19 February 2027, which ends the day before February vacation begins. Aer Lingus still flies Dublin and TAP still flies Lisbon, so the trip works. The airline most families would search first does not.
Delta added a winter Rome block running 6 January to 7 March 2027, 4x weekly on the A330-300. A nonstop from Boston to Rome inside February vacation week is unusual, and it will not be there every year.
Every BermudAir winter route and every JetBlue Saturday-only winter Caribbean route runs through 1 May 2027, which covers both February and April vacation. These are the routes built for exactly these weeks.
Where can you fly nonstop from Boston
without a passport?
Two places, both domestic and both warm: San Juan in Puerto Rico and St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. This filter matters more than families expect. Getting a child's first passport in Massachusetts can take longer than the trip you are planning, and both parents have to appear in person to apply.
JetBlue runs 3 to 4 flights daily year-round, seven days a week, plus a daily Delta service. Roughly 24 to 29 flights a week combined, which means a missed connection is not a lost day. No passport and no customs line coming home. This is the strongest vacation-week destination on the whole site.
Our guideJetBlue went daily on 18 December 2025 and Delta also flies it. Same passport-free advantage as Puerto Rico with fewer daily frequencies, so less room to recover if something goes wrong on the day.
Frontier filed a Boston to San Juan start date of 18 December 2026. It appears in schedule feeds but in no Frontier press release, so we are not treating it as real until it is.
Which islands are nonstop from Boston
in winter?
This is where Logan quietly beats most US airports for a New England family in February. Many of these are Saturday-only winter services. That sounds restrictive until you notice that Saturday to Saturday is exactly how a school vacation week runs.

No Boston nonstop to Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Cozumel or Guadalajara.
How long are the flights,
and which are red-eyes?
Nearly every Boston to Europe nonstop is an overnight, and the Boston red-eye is a specific problem nobody writes about. It is shorter than the west-coast version, which sounds like an advantage and is not. Six hours of flight is about four hours of real sleep. You land at 7am, and the hotel will not check you in until three.
- San JuanAbout 4 hours. Daytime, domestic
- Ponta Delgada, Azores5h05m. The shortest hop to Europe from Boston
- LisbonAbout 6 hours
- AthensAbout 9 hours
- Tokyo Narita13h45m
- Hong Kong15h15m. Logan's longest route
- Seoul Incheon15h30m
- Hong KongCathay Pacific daily, A350-1000
- SeoulKorean Air daily
- Tokyo NaritaJapan Airlines daily
- DubaiEmirates daily, B777
- DohaQatar, resumed 16 June 2026, 7x weekly
- Abu DhabiEtihad, resumed 6 March 2026, about 6x weekly
Every Gulf route was suspended for part of 2026. Verify before you build a trip on one.
We are not going to guess at these. The seven above are verified; the remaining European routes need checking against current schedules rather than estimated from a distance calculation, because the eastbound and westbound times differ by more than an hour on the same route.
Routes and airlines
that no longer exist.
Six things are wrong on any Boston route list written before late 2025. We are naming them because if you find them on another site, you now know how old that page is, and because we would rather you check us than trust us.
Ceased operations entirely on 29 to 30 September 2025. Icelandair is now the only Boston to Iceland operator.
Shut down permanently on 2 May 2026 after 34 years. Every Spirit route from Logan is dead, not suspended.
Dropped in October 2023. United now operates zero international routes from Boston. Lists that still show it have not been touched in three years.
Suspended, and the planned 24 October 2026 resumption was cancelled outright. El Al still flies it at about 4x weekly, in an unstable market.
Absent from every current source list. Treat it as gone until an airline announcement says otherwise.
Hainan's Brussels service was a technical stop on a round-the-world Beijing routing, not a point-to-point route, and it ended in summer 2026. Boston has no Brussels nonstop.
Where you cannot fly nonstop
from Boston.
There is no nonstop from Boston to South Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa or Oceania, and no realistic prospect of one. Inside Europe, several places families assume are direct are not. Knowing which ones changes the shape of a trip rather than ruining it.
Geneva: fly Zurich, then the train. Florence and Pisa: fly Rome, then Frecciarossa, about 1h30m to Florence. Malaga for the Costa del Sol: fly Madrid year-round, then a short hop or the AVE. Faro for the Algarve: fly Lisbon, then TAP's 55 minute connection or drive about 3 hours.
Bali and Kuala Lumpur: one stop via Hong Kong, Doha, Dubai or Seoul. Cathay via Hong Kong was the most schedule-reliable option through 2026. Perth: Boston to Doha to Perth is a genuine one-stop on paper, but it depends on Gulf routes that were suspended for months, so most Boston families end up two-stop.
Every destination we have written up,
and how you actually get there.
The routing line from each of our guides, in one place. This is the table to save. If a destination is not nonstop we say so, and we name the connection instead of quietly leaving it out.

What families ask about Logan routes.
How many nonstop international routes does Boston Logan have?
Roughly 60 international nonstop routes across about 37 airlines as of August 2026, including 24 destinations in Europe. That count moves every season as seasonal routes start and stop, so treat it as a good approximation rather than a fixed number you can quote back at an airline.
Can you fly nonstop from Boston to Europe in February?
Yes, but only on the year-round routes. Dublin, London Heathrow, Paris, Reykjavik, Zurich, Lisbon, Madrid, Frankfurt, Munich, Copenhagen, Istanbul, Porto and the Azores all operate through winter. Nice, Milan, Barcelona, Edinburgh and London Gatwick are summer only and will not be flying during February vacation week.
Where can you fly nonstop from Boston without a passport?
San Juan, Puerto Rico and St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. Both are domestic flights, so there is no passport requirement and no customs line on the way home. San Juan is the stronger option with JetBlue running 3 to 4 flights daily year-round plus a daily Delta service.
Which airlines stopped flying from Boston recently?
PLAY ceased operations entirely in late September 2025. Spirit shut down permanently on 2 May 2026. United dropped its last Boston international route in October 2023. Delta cancelled its Tel Aviv resumption. Finnair no longer appears on any current schedule. Any route list showing these is out of date.
Is there a nonstop from Boston to Asia or Australia?
To East Asia yes: Hong Kong, Seoul Incheon, Tokyo Narita and Beijing all have nonstops, with Hong Kong at 15 hours 15 minutes being Logan's longest route. There is no nonstop from Boston to South Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa or Oceania, and there is unlikely to be one soon.
How often is this route list updated?
It carries a verified date and gets re-checked before each Massachusetts school vacation week, which is when the information actually matters. Routes churn every season and two airlines serving Logan have failed since 2025, so a route list without a date on it should not be trusted.
